COME CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF RENEGADE RADIO
For 10 years now, Pirate Cat Radio 87.9fm has been continuously dodging the FCC. Recently these crafty kittens managed to avoid a lawsuit from Sirius Satellite Radio for airing the Howard Stern Show live! PCR started in 1996 with one swashbuckling rebel in his bedroom with a transmitter, and this decade has seen it grow to a studio with over 15 volunteer DJ’s, all of whom support the local music community by promoting and airing music by local artists. Despite all the ducking and diving, Pirate Cat Radio has provided a great service for the music enthusiasts in San Francisco and has recently expanded their reach to the good folks of Los Angeles as well. Please join them at Annie’s Social Club (former CW Saloon, Cherry Bar) to celebrate ten years of continuous uncensored DJ’s and music on commercial free radio. Enjoy a night of music by legendary punk rock bands, special entertainment and giveaways!
