ABC Threatens to Shut Down Bottom of the Hill
Last week, Steve Hardy, the head of the California Alcoholic Beverage Control met with Senator Mark Leno and assured him that the ABC would work to find a way to keep San Francisco’s all-ages music venues in business. Apparently Mr. Hardy had his fingers crossed because this week, the Bottom of the Hill received notice that they will be in ABC court again on May 6. Cases are also pending against Cafe Du Nord, Slim’s and the Great American Music Hall.
If you agree or disagree with the ABC’s actions, Pirate Cat Radio encourages you to contact their San Francisco office at (415)356-6500 or SFO.Direct@abc.ca.gov.
